Bibimbap is a Korean dish that originated in Jeonju in the Jeolla region of Korea. It is a dish with a taste that tourists long for. Being a very well known Korean food item, it is a commonly served meal on airplane flights. Bibimbap is commonly made with rice mixed with a variety of different vegetables, chestnuts, red beans and marinated beef. When bibimbap is made in a stone bowl, called a dolsot, it is known as dolsotbibimbap.
